So I went to another big park today. I only had to work a half-day at my office job, and it was 60 degrees outside. I wasn’t expecting too much. I really don’t like shooting on bright sunny days; I’d much prefer gray or muted white skies any day. But, I really wanted to be outside, so I went out. Due to my day job, I haven’t been able to go to one of these parks on a weekday for a while. I had forgotten how nice they are on Monday afternoons as opposed to Saturday/Sunday afternoons. It really was just me alone in a forest for a few hours. The only sounds I could hear most of the time were those of the trees clanging together or the occasional leaf falling. Needless to say, it was a really nice afternoon, even if it wasn’t my ideal photo-making weather.
